Job Summary:

The Channel Development Specialist is responsible for expanding and managing sales channels in Davao and nearby areas. This role focuses on increasing product visibility, strengthening relationships with retailers and distributors, and driving sales growth across modern trade, general trade, and e-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow sales across different channels (retail, distributor, e-commerce).
  • Identify new business opportunities and onboard new retail partners or distributors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing retailers, distributors, and key accounts.
  • Conduct regular store visits, monitor product placement, and ensure proper merchandising.
  • Gather market insights and competitor information to support sales and marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations teams for promotions, launches, and campaigns.
  • Prepare sales reports, channel performance analysis, and recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG sales, channel development, or account management.
  • Knowledge of retail, distributor networks, and e-commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Davao and nearby areas.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
