The Company

An IT services and consulting company based in Brisbane, QLD, founded in 2016, specializing in software engineering, consulting, distribution, and promotion. They help governments, organizations, and startups build, modernize, and improve custom software solutions across desktop, web, cloud, and mobile platforms.

The Role

The Front-End Software Engineer is responsible for building responsive, user-friendly interfaces that support SearchX's property compliance and reporting platform. The role ensures that applications are intuitive, performant, and compliant with accessibility and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to implement user-friendly features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing and reviews.
  • Maintain security and accessibility standards in UI components.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proficiency in React (preferred) or similar frameworks (Angular, Vue).
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience integrating with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools and version control (Git).
  • Experience writing unit tests for UI components.

Desirable:

  • Experience with UX design or prototyping tools (Figma).
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Knowledge of front-end performance optimization.

Work Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PH Time.

Location

  • Home-based ; Equipment is provided.
  • Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
