Multi-Skilled Technician / BMS Operator

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, lighting, water supply, etc.) through the BMS.
  • Conduct routine inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on building equipment.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, faults, and breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and daily reports of system readings, alarms, and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with service providers and contractors for corrective and preventive maintenance works.
  • Support the Building Engineer in implementing energy-saving initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies.
  • Perform other technical or maintenance-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a technical or vocational course in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience in building operations or facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledgeable in BMS operations (Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, etc.) and related systems.
  • Skilled in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • With good communication and documentation skills.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays when required.
