Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the financial health of the organization. This includes producing financial reports and developing strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of the company. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and proven leadership abilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

• Develop and implement financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance to management.
• Assist in strategic planning and long-term business development.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., PAS/PFRS, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Present financial reports and findings to senior management and stakeholders.

Cash Management & Treasury:

• Manage daily cash flow, optimize working capital, and oversee treasury operations.
• Develop and implement cash management policies and procedures.
• Negotiate with banks and financial institutions for favorable terms on loans and credit facilities.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Manage foreign exchange exposure and other financial risks.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor adherence to approved budgets.
• Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Analyze actual costs versus budgeted costs and provide explanations for variances.

Audit & Compliance:

• Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations (e.g., BIR requirements in the Philippines) and other statutory requirements.
• Develop and maintain robust internal control systems.
• Team Leadership & Development:
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the finance department.

Other Duties:

• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CFO or General Manager.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy & Finance, A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience in the Accounting Firm is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing financial operations and contributing to strategic financial planning.
• With experience in people management with at least 5-7 teams
• Knowledgeable in general accounting & Tax accounting

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in financial software and Xero systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax laws and regulations (for roles in the Philippines).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
