POSITION SUMMARYEnsures proper flow and completion of day -to -day transactions and makes sure that all are up to hotel standards. Overall Job Responsibilities • Supports the department head in overseeing the overall daily operations and workflow of the section to ensure smooth and efficient execution of tasks.• Represents the department head at meetings in his absence or when needed.• Ensures all daily reports are submitted regularly and within the set deadline.• Reviews assignments' status and follows up actions with the next active -duty supervisor, ensuring proper and seamless handover. • Always maintains and imposes exemplary departmental standards of behavior and appearance and attitude.• Oversees team performance and presence on the floor to ensure responsibilities are fulfilled in line with company expectations.• Accountable for preparing and maintaining work schedules that ensure adequate manpower for daily operations and special circumstances such as events, peak periods, or high -volume arrivals. Supervisors must also ensure that leave requests are fairly distributed while maintaining sufficient staffing levels to support operational needs.• Responsible for overseeing the Workforce Management System to ensure accurate and timely tracking of employee attendance and scheduling. This includes verifying that timesheets align with actual clock -in/out records, ensuring overtime hours are properly approved, leaves are correctly tagged, and tardiness is consistently monitored and addressed.• Aids the department head in fostering a safe and healthy working environment by promoting adherence to safety protocols and best practices.• Responsible for conflict resolution and service recovery.• Conducts rounds and inspections on areas and perimeters under the Transportation department.• Responsible for training all Team Members under Transportation, ensuring that they are well aware of the department's policies and procedures and their responsibilities.• Conducts individual performance evaluations in alignment with the department's quarterly assessments and the company's annual appraisal process. • Provides guidance and constructive feedback to team members to support their professional growth.• Develops and implements personalized development plans aimed at improving performance and aligning individual goals with departmental objectives.• Ensures car park cleanliness and building maintenance, and coordinates concerns with involved departments.• Covers car park operations such as car park occupancies and monitoring of long -staying vehicles.• Re -routes traffic when parking facility reaches maximum capacity.• Check Valet Cashiers and randomly audit transactions to make sure that the guest charges and settlement are accurate and that the cash float is balanced. Addresses and settles any associated complaints or issues from guests.• Works closely and coordinates with Valet Parking Service to ensure daily compliance of Solaire Service Level Agreements.• Check Traffic Controllers to ensure that they are properly posted, opening guest vehicle doors, direct traffic and managing the driveway to ensure smooth and seamless traffic flow.• Works closely and coordinates with Shuttle Service Management to ensure daily compliance of Solaire Service Level Agreements.• Check Limousine Reservation Agents to ensure all bookings and special arrangements are made accordingly and charges are posted on time.• Coordinates with the Fleet Maintenance Service for the repairs and needed replacement of broken parts.• Randomly inspects vehicles for cleanliness, ensures both interior and exterior are clean and within the standards.• Conducts random checks of vehicle dashboard camera.• Regularly inspects daily reports and vehicle checklists for maintenance and promptly address concerns such as, but not limited to undue wear and tear, low tire pressure, unusual vehicle engine noise, low water, oil or break fluid levels.• Performs the duties of a licensed Driver when required to do so.• Maintains thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures including, but not limited to, fire, earthquake, natural disasters, active shooter situations, and bomb threats• Assumes other duties assigned by Management as required. RequirementsEXPERIENCE REQUIRED• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in supervisory or managerial level within the Hotel Transportation industry • Education: At least College level Key competencies and skills of the role Knowledge & Skills: - Strong leadership skills  - Decision -making skills  - Basic Conflict Resolution skills  - Basic People Management skills  - Excellent driving skills  - Excellent Communications Skills  - Knowledge in using Microsoft Suite Training Qualifications: Holder of a professional driving license Personality: Good interpersonal and supervisory skills, strong commanding presence and authority Languages: Good in both written and spoken English; knowledge of another foreign language is an advantage Physical Requirement: Physically fit for extensively walking and standing for the duration of shift
