Key Responsibilities

  • System Design & Programming: Develop, program, and integrate automation for swine facility systems and feed mill operations.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and control system faults quickly to minimize downtime in both environments.
  • Optimization: Analyze system performance and implement upgrades focused on improving resource efficiency and operational reliability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs. Ensure all systems comply with safety and feed quality regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 3+ years in industrial automation, with demonstrated experience in process control.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in PLC programming and HMI development.

  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and mechanical components.

  • Proficiency with various industrial sensors.

  • Experience in an agricultural or livestock production environment.

  • Familiarity with industrial network protocols and data integration systems.
