JOB DESCRIPTIONDeliver and coordinate legal advice in support of the company's business, managing and mitigating risk, and drive ethical behaviour and compliance with laws and company policies. The GCC team protects the company, enables the operation of the business, and helps the business grow. GCC professionals focus on the following key activities:Legal Leadership Advisor — acting as a legal advisor to local leadership on CORE matters together with the broader GCC team and the Market Unit Legal Director (MULD), including educating and guiding local leadership on sound corporate governance principles and best practices in line with the company's Code of Business Ethics.

Business Advisor — collaborating, reviewing, and overseeing CORE responsibilities in advising the business on various matters alongside other legal areas. Understanding the strategy and priorities of the Market Unit Lead and Country Managing Director, and assisting in related company initiatives relevant for the country in line with global legal programs. Working with the Government Relations team on potential issues that, while not illegal, may have sensitivity due to the geopolitical climate and local sensitivities.

Compliance — implementing global compliance programs locally and aligning local compliance with global standards. Monitoring regulatory developments, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, and updating policies as needed. Ensuring issues are evaluated, investigated, and resolved appropriately, and monitoring the effectiveness of compliance activities.

Corporate Functions Advisor — advising and supporting the company's corporate teams on legal matters, serving as a trusted advisor with a focus on early intervention and proactive solutions. Providing legal advice related to restructuring, business activities, and managing company secretarial matters with controllership and external advisors. Job QualificationsJuris Doctor degree or equivalent legal qualification.

Admitted to the bar (or local equivalent) and in good standing, or authorized to practice law. Familiarity with US law contracting for a global corporation is preferred.6-8 years of relevant legal experience, including:Understanding legal issues related to bringing software products to market legally, including offerings utilizing machine learning and third-party data. Experience in technology transactions, drafting and negotiating client-facing or vendor-facing agreements, in law firms or in-house legal departments.

Knowledge of data and privacy issues, IP law, open source licensing, and product development considerations. Risk analysis, prioritization, and management skills. Preferred QualificationsIn-house legal experience

Interest in technology and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence

Experience in training other lawyers

Knowledge of product liability
