Nimbyx is a dynamic and fast-paced company. We thrive on innovation, initiative, and excellence. Our front desk is the hub of our operations, and we are looking for a exceptional individual to be the first point of contact for our clients and partners.
We are seeking a highly self-sufficient, sharp, and proactive Receptionist to manage our front office. This is not a role for someone who needs heavy direction. You will be the face of Nimbyx, responsible for creating an outstanding first impression, managing administrative workflows, and solving problems before they escalate. Success in this role requires impeccable judgment, the ability to learn quickly, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and callers.
- Manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the lobby and conference rooms.
- Provide administrative support to various teams as needed, including scheduling meeting rooms and preparing materials.
Qualifications

- Extreme Self-Sufficiency: You are a quick and independent learner. While questions are welcome in the initial onboarding phase, you are expected to rapidly assimilate information and become the in-house expert of your domain.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: You don't just identify problems; you develop solutions. You can make smart recommendations and decisions that align with business needs without always needing to ask for permission.
- Grace Under Pressure: Our environment is busy. You must be able to juggle multiple tasks, maintain a calm and professional demeanor, and be "battle ready" to handle any situation that comes your way.
- Impeccable Judgment: You will often be the first line of defense. Your ability to handle sensitive information and navigate client interactions with discretion and tact is critical.
- Strong Organizational Skills: You possess an exceptional eye for detail and can create and maintain your own organized systems for success.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.
