Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and customer service? We are looking for a Home-Based Accounts VA to support our U.S.-based client in managing billing and collections with precision and professionalism. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring timely payments, accurate records, and clear communication with vendors and customers. If you're organized, analytical, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced finance team, this role is for you.

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Detail-Oriented: Maintains precision in invoicing, reconciliations, and data entry.

  • Problem Solver: Uses critical thinking to resolve billing discrepancies and account issues.

  • Customer-Focused: Communicates clearly and courteously with internal teams and external clients.

  • Organized & Timely: Manages tasks efficiently and meets tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.

  • Proactive: Follows through on tasks independently and escalates issues when needed.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating accounting software and Excel with confidence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support for a project involving the allocation of expenses by business location.

  • The role will be responsible for reviewing expenses and accurately categorizing them by location.

  • The client will provide training on expense research and categorization, as well as training on their ERP system, which will be used to trace records.

  • The ideal candidate should be highly detail-oriented, capable of deep data analysis, and proficient in Excel.

  • Basic understanding of accounting is preferred; however, the client noted that an accounting background can be taught if necessary.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an office or accounting role with a focus on accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.

  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • Schedule: Able to work overnight/graveyard shifts in PH time or U.S. business hours

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

    • Ability to work independently and follow directions effectively.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

    • Strong interpersonal skills to work well with internal teams, vendors, and customers.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary Range: PHP 30,000 – 35,000
