SHOPIFY DEVELOPER:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any IT related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • +1 year of experience with Shopify/PHP Platform;
  • Proven experience as a Shopify Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Shopify development, including low-code development and custom coding when necessary.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and data modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Shopify certifications are a plus.
  • Willing to work onsite

Work Setup: 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop scalable and maintainable Shopify applications to meet our business needs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and other team members to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Customize and extend Shopify modules and components.
  • Perform unit testing and debugging of applications.
  • Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of Shopify applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify platform updates and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively within an agile development environment.
  • Provide support and training to end-users as needed.
  • Participate in technical design and contribute insights and ideas
  • Successfully troubleshoot most application problems independently; determine the root cause and fix the problem
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, identify key milestones, and raise critical project issues such as resource needs and contingencies
