We are currently looking for a Facilities Manager who will be working with Connext's newly acquired office in Cebu.

What is the job?

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of a company's physical work environment.

Responsibilities:


• Oversee daily office operations, logistics, safety compliance, and facility management.

• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, renovations, and office layout changes with vendors and contractors.

• Manage government compliance requirements, permits, and regulatory adherence.

• Supervise vendors, fleet, transportation, and domestic and international travel arrangements.

• Lead, coach, and support office staff while managing schedules and appointments.

• Handle purchasing, reporting, contracts, and management presentations to support leadership decisions.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Office Administration, or a related field


• Certified Safety Officer possessing Basic Occupation Safety and Health (BOSH) certification.


• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in office management, facilities management or admin assistance.


• Strong technical expertise in mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems, with the ability to handle labor-intensive tasks.

• Demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills, including contract and budget oversight.

• Communicates effectively with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
