Propela Tech is a US-based technology company specializing in building scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that empower businesses to thrive. We are expanding our Salesforce team and looking for a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to join us remotely from the Philippines.

Role Overview

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce applications and integrations. You will work closely with our US-based team during EST business hours, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications, customizations, and integrations.
  • Build and enhance Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components (Aura/LWC), and workflows.
  • Implement and optimize API integrations with external systems.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, admins, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Ensure best practices, performance, and security standards are met in all development work.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Apex (classes, triggers, batch, scheduled jobs)
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC) & Aura Components
  • Visualforce
  • SOQL/SOSL
  • Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP/Bulk/Streaming)
  • Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Workflows
  • Experience with Salesforce deployments (Change Sets, SFDX, Metadata API).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce security, governor limits, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable working US EST business hours.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (or higher).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Copado, Gearset).
  • Background in Agile development methodologies.
