Reporting to: Assistant HR Manager - Compensation & Benefits
The HR Associate for Compensation and Benefits maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records. Administers and processes Company Benefits based on FELCO policies and guidelines.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains an accurate and up-to-date data record of employee in the 201 folders and HRIS
Creates detailed profiles for newly hired employees and ensures that all data is complete, accurate, and properly entered into the HRIS. This includes processing the BDO account number.
- Manages the regular updating of employee information, including changes in civil status, address, emergency contacts, and other personal details.
- Updates the organizational structure and employee records based on approved Personnel Action Forms (PAFs), ensuring that all changes—such as promotions, transfers, reassignments, or job title updates—are timely and accurately reflected in the HRIS.
Prepares and issues Certificates of Employment upon employee request ensuring correctness of employment details such as job title and date hires.
Administers and processes some company benefits of all employees, including required documents and certifications.
Manages the timely enrollment, renewal, and deactivation of employees from personal accident insurance coverage, and monitors the status of claims while coordinating with insurance providers to facilitate efficient processing.
Facilitates and processes financial assistance for employees who have lost an immediate family member, in accordance with company policies.
Manages clearance and offboarding activities, including sending clearance emails, tracking progress, and addressing employee questions during the exit process.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR, Business Management or related field
Professional Experience:
- Open to fresh graduates with relevant internship experience; up to 1 year relevant experience preferred
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of HRIS
- Knowledgeable in Compensation and Benefits Management
- Familiarity with government policies
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
- Records Management to maintain an updated and accurate employee records
