Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks in a residential or commercial building. The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to tenant requests, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring the overall cleanliness, safety, and functionality of building systems and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to unit owners' or tenants' requests related to:
  • Electrical repairs
  • Plumbing issues
  • Air Conditioning Unit (ACU) cleaning and maintenance
  • Implement minor repair, maintenance, and improvement projects.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of machine rooms (e.g., pumps, elevators) and the roof deck/rain catchment areas.
  • Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance.
  • Check and ensure proper operation of all pumps, including:
  • Booster pumps
  • Jockey pumps
  • Fire pumps
  • Pool pumps
  • Monitor and manage the building's water supply system.
  • Conduct elevator maintenance and ensure cleanliness.
  • Perform messengerial tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain cleanliness of fire exits (from 21st Floor to Parking levels).
  • Conduct regular roving inspections to identify maintenance issues (e.g., busted lights, popped-up tiles, damaged walls/windows).
  • Operate lighting systems:
  • Turn on/off lights and signage as needed.
  • Replace busted lights and report damages promptly.
  • Assist with water pumping operations to fill storage tanks.

Scheduled Tasks:

  • Weekly: Clean sump pit (every Sunday)
  • Monthly:
  • Pest control services (every Sunday)
  • Water meter reading (every 19th of the month)
  • Annually: Assist with tank cleaning during the Lenten season

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in building or facilities maintenance
  • Knowledge in basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor issues
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labor
  • Flexible and willing to work on weekends or holidays as needed
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed on-site and may involve indoor and outdoor tasks.
  • May require climbing, lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php16,000.00 per month
