You will work closely with a team of accountants to manage financial functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing.

  • Maintain accounting/finance departmental files and desktop procedures and process documents for area of responsibility.
  • Consistently improve accuracy of detailed accounting records by performing miscellaneous accounting reconciliation projects proactively with accuracy
  • Perform month-end trade accounting tasks
  • Collaborate with Finance team to produce backup materials and schedules for yearly audits
  • Ability to manage multi-task simultaneously
  • Provide timely reporting to the management and any other stakeholders.
  • Accounting supervisors must be able to effectively communicate with employees and maintain a positive working relationship when addressing problems and coming up with solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting Supervisors members in the preparation of day to day. monthly and quarterly accounting reports.
  • Preparing purchasing side/accounts payable /accounts receivable entries.
  • Performing reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
  • Reconciling financial statements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Ensuring precise data entry.
  • Posting journal entries in the accounting system.
  • Preparing balance sheet and profit and loss statement.
  • Reporting any fluctuations and variances.
  • Assisting the team with accounting issues and queries.
  • Adhering to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Staying updated with the best practices in accounting.

Skills and Competencies

  • A willingness and desire to continuously learn about new techniques and to acquire new knowledge
  • Highly motivated and enjoys working as part of a growing team
  • Dealing with tight deadlines and pressure
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • The ability to process large amounts of numerical data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work with people across all departments as well as with external alliance partners

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
