Sales Representative

The Wholesale Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of B2B clients, including independent cafes, restaurants, hotels, and office coffee programs. This role is a combination of new business development (prospecting and closing new accounts) and relationship management (servicing and growing existing accounts).
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Prospecting
- Lead Generation: Actively prospect and qualify new wholesale leads through cold calling, networking, industry events/trade shows, and market research.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct engaging sales presentations, coffee tastings, and product demonstrations for prospective clients, effectively communicating the unique value of auro cafe's offerings.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements to secure new wholesale partnerships, ensuring profitability and alignment with company standards.
- Market Insight: Stay up-to-date on specialty coffee industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing to effectively position auro cafe in the market.
2. Account Management & Service
- Relationship Building: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of wholesale accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships.
- Client Support: Manage ongoing client needs, including processing orders, coordinating with the roasting/production team for fulfillment, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Training & Education: Provide basic coffee training and support to wholesale partners on equipment usage, brewing best practices, and product knowledge to ensure quality is maintained.
- Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell new products (e.g., seasonal blends, retail merchandise, equipment) to existing clients to increase account volume and revenue.
3. Reporting & Administration
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
- Sales Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance metrics against weekly, monthly, and quarterly quotas.
- Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and input to the roasting and inventory teams to ensure product availability.
