We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Company Driver / Helper to support our solar installation team. This role involves driving company vehicles to installation sites, assisting with transporting solar equipment and materials, and helping installers with on-site tasks to ensure smooth and efficient project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive company vehicles to transport solar panels, tools, and other installation materials to various job sites.
  • Assist with loading and unloading solar equipment, including panels, mounting racks, inverters, wiring, and batteries.
  • Support the solar installation crew by carrying tools, organizing materials, and helping with basic installation tasks as directed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper care of vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or damages promptly.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and industry regulations while driving and working on-site.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory records for tools and materials.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and installation teams to coordinate logistics and support.
  • Follow company protocols for site safety, including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience driving commercial vehicles or vans preferred.
  • Physically fit to lift and carry heavy solar equipment and tools.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge or willingness to learn about solar installation processes is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork mindset.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully.
  • Safety-conscious and attentive to detail.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent travel to various solar installation sites within assigned areas.
  • Physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, and assisting with installations.
  • Use of PPE and adherence to safety standards mandatory.
  • Possible early start times and flexible work hours depending on project schedules.
