Role Overview

The Product Innovation Manager plays a key role in shaping the company's portfolio of health, beauty, and wellness products. This position is responsible for spotting consumer and market trends, conceptualizing new product ideas, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch successful products in the Philippine market.

Key Responsibilities

Trend Scanning & Market Insights

  • Monitor global and local health, beauty, and wellness trends.
  • Analyze consumer needs, competitor activities, and category performance to identify product opportunities.

Product Innovation & Development

  • Translate market insights into product concepts and development briefs.
  • Recommend product line extensions, reformulations, or new categories that align with company strategy.
  • Evaluate formulations, ingredients, and claims to ensure product safety, quality, and competitiveness.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance

  • Coordinate with the Regulatory Affairs team to secure FDA approval and compliance for new products.
  • Review technical documents, claims, and labels to meet regulatory and industry standards.

Marketing & Launch Execution

  • Collaborate with Marketing to define product positioning, packaging, and branding.
  • Support campaign development with technical product knowledge and consumer insights.
  • Provide product training and support to Sales during launches.

Post-Launch Monitoring

  • Track sales, consumer feedback, and product performance.
  • Recommend improvements or next steps based on market response.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (Licensed Pharmacist preferred).
  • Background or training in Marketing, Business, or Brand/Product Management is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product innovation, category/brand management, or regulatory affairs in FMCG, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or wellness industry.
  • Strong knowledge of FDA requirements, formulations, and product registration processes.
  • Experience in product development and cross-functional project management.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Creative, consumer-driven, and detail-oriented.
