Computer Vision AI Engineer

Our US-based client is looking for a skilled Computer Vision Engineer to help develop advanced dental diagnostic systems. The role focuses on designing and implementing instance and semantic segmentation algorithms to accurately detect dental issues from X-rays and imagery. Strong AI back-end expertise is essential, including deep learning, model optimization, and scalable AI system development and deployment. LLM experience is a plus.​

• ocument and present research findings, methodologies, and algorithmic approaches to internal stakeholders and external partners.W

• eeping up to date with the latest research and advancements in computer vision and dental imaging technologies.D
• ocumenting research findings, methodologies, and algorithms.P
• resenting research and development progress to internal teams and external partners.R

• bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.5
• years of experience in computer vision, specifically in segmentation techniques.P
• roficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).I
• n-depth knowledge of classical computer vision algorithms (e.g., edge detection, image segmentation).S
• trong understanding of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and their applications in image analysis.E
• xperience in training and fine-tuning deep learning models for object detection and segmentation tasks.F
• amiliarity with dental imaging modalities, such as X-ray and intraoral cameras.​

hile this is a work-from-home position, it is important to note that this is a full-time role—not a freelance or flexible-hour arrangement. You will be expected to work a fixed shift and maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability, just as you would in an office environment.

This role requires:
