Wastewater Management Engineer

Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Maynilad Water Services, Inc. Full time ₱400,000 - ₱800,000 per year

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Operates and controls treatment plant machines and equipment to collect and treat wastewater

  2. Monitors and inspects plant machines and equipment

  3. Performs troubleshooting activities (i.e. repairs of minor defects of plant machines and equipment) to ensure smooth operation of the wastewater treatment facilities

  4. Performs all aspects of sampling, monitoring, and testing required to maintain compliance with the environmental standards

  5. Assists in the performance of preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on all plant machines and equipment

  6. Collects wastewater samples for internal process monitoring of wastewater treatment facilities

  7. Ensures accurate recording of plant data and logs any defects noted 8. Maintains proper upkeep of the facilities

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL LICENSES

Graduate of Chemical, Sanitary, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering course Licensed Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Sanitary or any related course

Preferably with relevant work experience
