PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVESThe Global Finance Success Environment allows SAP to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness as well as quality of the finance processes while delivering global end-to-end process standards.

Within GFS, the Allocations Accounting team manages the intercompany accounting and internal revenue & cost allocation processes for the SAP group. The global group of colleagues in the Allocations Accounting team provide three types of services:Intercompany (ICO)Management AllocationsOperational Support for ControllingWe are searching for a motivated colleague in our location in Manila to strengthen our global team as Allocation Accountant for APJ region, supporting all intercompany transactions and management allocation topics for APJ entities. The Allocations Accounting team members proactively and collectively perform the tasks and processes on either global level or for dedicated SAP subsidiaries.

Interaction and collaboration within GFS process delivery teams (in GA, P2P, O2I) as well as with Local Chief Accountant (LCAs), Local Tax Managers (LTMs) and other organizations is daily business. At GFS, we must provide top-quality services to all internal customers. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKSYou will learn on the job and grow into a role with responsibility for such things as:Post intercompany journal entries and ensure accurate recording on both sides of transactions.

Monitor and manage intercompany requests, providing status updates to relevant parties. Perform intercompany reconciliation and coordinate with relevant teams for any differences or mismatch. Post and process expense and revenue reclassification requests raised by controllers.

Provide month end closing support. Run allocation cycles (assessment and distribution). Provide operational support to Controllers.

Ensure proactive involvement in the process alignment and standardization across countries and regions. Provide first class service and build good business relations with key stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIESMinimum of 2 years accounting experience.

Experience / knowledge in accounting, with a focus on intercompany transactions and cost allocation. Fluency in English, both oral and written. Knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP FI/CO accounting & reporting modules.

Strong people skills, collaborative team member in both virtual and physical teams. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Excel. Strong analytical skills and diligence.
