Seeking an Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) Technician to join the growing team at Chain Glass Enterprises Incorporated in Manila City, Metro Manila. This full-time position provides technical support, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for the company's customers servicing automatic door systems and related electrical/electro-mechanical equipment. As a key member of the team, you will help ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities.

What you'll be doing
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automatic doors, operators, sensors, control boards, and accessories
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and control faults (power supply, wiring, sensors, safety devices, and controllers)
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and calibration to identify and prevent potential issues
  • Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals for installation and repair work
  • Install, align, adjust, and test components (door operators, rails, locks, motion sensors, safety beams, push buttons, etc.)
  • Coordinate with the engineering/facilities team to implement upgrades and improvements
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service reports, and parts used
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and site procedures
  • Respond to urgent breakdowns to minimize downtime when needed
What we're looking for
  • High School graduate minimum
  • Diploma/Vocational course/Technical training in Electrical, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Mechatronics, Natioanl Certificate, or related field is an advantage but not required
  • Work experience in automatic doors, access systems, shutters/gates, or similar electro-mechanical equipment is a strong plus
  • Ability to read and interpret basic wiring diagrams/schematics and follow technical manuals
  • Hands-on skills in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical/electro-mechanical systems (motors, sensors, relays, controllers, limit switches)
  • Can use basic testing tools (e.g., multimeter) and practice safe troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
