Job Summary:

The Financial Control Manager oversees all activities of the Finance Chapter and is involved in the supervision and management of general accounting activities, analyses, business partnership, and the maintenance of effective internal controls while ensuring statutory compliance in all financial initiatives.

The Financial Control Manager is responsible for the day-to-day aspects of the business's accounting and reporting functions and he reports directly to the Chief Finance Officer who takes responsibility over the entire financial department. He is additionally expected to work with other chapter leads in deciding on complex modeling of the business's financial approaches that cut across the entire business.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, cash and accounts receivable management.
  • Ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organization
  • Manage and organize the finance team in their deliverables and expected output.
  • Shall formulate strategies and continuously improve programs, system and policies.
  • Implement, analyze and report financial data and strategic position to efficiently run the business operation.
  • Oversee credit & collection and procurement operations to serve internal customers' functional necessities.
  • Assist in projects and products evaluation: pricing /costs, financial impact
  • Lead/Assist cross functional heads-to improve profitability and productivity from strategy development to implementation and monitoring.
  • Keeping company's assets and internal controls.
  • Provide operational management support specifically in implementing over-all strategic plans, strengthening internal controls and regulatory compliance
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management on long-term business and financial planning, pricing, business strategy, and allocation of funding
  • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA required
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a similar capacity.
  • Experience in the financial technology industry is an advantage
  • Solid background and knowledge in statutory benefits and BIR Regulations is an advantage
  • Well versed in accounting and finance principles and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in business English
