You'll Be JoiningThe ShiftCare Engineering team aims to make ShiftCare accessible to more businesses across Australia and the United States.

As we double our revenue each year, we are scaling our systems and processes accordingly. Within the Engineering team, you'll join our infrastructure team to advance our cloud infrastructure and DevOps principles. We value reliability, security, customer focus, and efficiency in our work.

The RoleAs ShiftCare scales, our platform and team requirements evolve. You will work on:Iterative improvements for our CI/CD pipelines

Contributing to our Terraform codebase

Developing scalable, high-availability, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions

Collaborating with engineering and business teams to solve cloud-related challenges

Proposing and implementing improvements to ensure our platform is future-proof

Participating in security, reliability, and disaster recovery exercises

You will be a key member of our infrastructure team as a Cloud Engineer, driving the next phase of our technology stack and DevOps processes.What You'll Do In The RoleAs part of the infrastructure team, you will:Support development teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions

Develop and improve our cloud infrastructure and processes, simplifying cloud usage for teams

Work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable cloud solutions and help shape architecture decisions

Implement monitoring and observability tools to enhance system visibility and troubleshoot proactively

Manage Infrastructure-as-Code using TerraformTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure platform reliability

Identify opportunities to improve our products and processes to support growth

About YouYou are passionate about cloud infrastructure, security, and building scalable, reliable solutions

You enjoy wearing multiple infrastructure hats, including security, networking, compute, CI/CD, and deployments

You have experience with AWS and deploying large-scale, reliable systems, ideally with stacks similar to ours: AWS, Cloudflare, Docker in ECS Fargate, Lambdas, SQSYou value continuous learning, improvement, and excellence, treating your work as a craft

You thrive in autonomous roles, driving solutions and fostering a supportive, inclusive team environment
