Job Summary
The HR Assistant / Recruiter will support the Human Resources Department in executing end-to-end recruitment activities, onboarding processes, and HR administrative tasks. The role involves sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting initial interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and maintaining accurate employee and applicant records. The HR Assistant / Recruiter also provides general HR support, ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Post job advertisements across various platforms (job portals, social media, company website, PESO, schools/universities, etc.).
- Source candidates through direct search, referrals, job fairs, and partnerships with external organizations.
- Screen résumés, shortlist qualified applicants, and conduct phone or initial interviews.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
- Administer pre-employment tests, background checks, and reference checks.
- Prepare candidate endorsement reports and ensure smooth handover to hiring managers.
- Maintain recruitment databases and track hiring metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness).
Onboarding & Employee Integration
- Facilitate new hire orientation and explain company policies, benefits, and culture.
- Prepare pre-employment requirements, contracts, and onboarding documents.
- Coordinate with Admin/IT for workplace setup, access, and tools.
- Monitor probationary evaluations and follow-up on performance feedback.
HR Support & Administration
- Maintain employee records and HR filing systems (digital and physical).
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and analytics (headcount, turnover, recruitment status).
- Support training, employee engagement activities, and HR projects as needed.
- Handle inquiries from applicants, employees, and external partners with professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, DOLE requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or related administrative function (fresh graduates with strong internship experience may be considered).
- Knowledge of recruitment processes, HR policies, and labor standards in the Philippines is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive).
- Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing and able to report in-person 6 days a week (Monday - Saturday)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php19, Php20,000.00 per month
