Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department by ensuring accurate document handling, assisting in invoice processing, maintaining filing systems, and supporting various accounting functions. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to assisting the finance team with day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice and Voucher Management:
  • Check physical invoices against the corresponding summary documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Attach checks to the correct vouchers and ensure that they are properly processed and tracked.
  • Document Filing and Maintenance:
  • Maintain proper filing systems for accounting and financial documents, ensuring that records are organized, easy to locate, and compliant with company standards.
  • Download and upload rental-related documents in the system for processing and record-keeping.
  • Tax Book Entries:
  • Accurately enter relevant information into tax books of accounts, ensuring that all entries are up-to-date and comply with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Audit Support:
  • Assist in locating and retrieving necessary finance documents during internal and external audits, ensuring timely availability of requested materials.
  • Miscellaneous Accounting Support:
  • Provide general assistance to the accounting team, including preparing documents, reports, and other tasks related to accounting functions as needed.

Qualifications:

· College Graduate or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

· No experience required but 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting is preferred.

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
