What You'll Do

The Accounting Associate provides support to the accounting team by assisting in daily financial operations, bookkeeping, reporting, and compliance-related tasks. This role works closely with senior accountants and auditors to ensure accurate financial records and timely processing of transactions.

Your main duties include:

Prepare Financial Reports

Assist with Tax Returns or Audits Accounting associates function as the assistant to the accountant or auditor they work under. This involves performing low-level tasks associated with the tax return or audit process.

Provide basic Accounting and Bookkeeping support to clients under the guidance of their direct supervisors, accounting associates provides basic accounting and bookkeeping support to their clients . This involves tasks such as reviewing their financial statements for inaccuracies and monitoring financial activity.

Monitor and document travel and client meeting expenses it is up to accounting associates to keep track of all the expenses that go along with servicing clients, which includes things such as travel expenses, meals with clients.

Keep track and verify accounts payable and receivable accounting associates are the ones who, under the guidance of their supervisors, keep track of and verify all the money going into and out of the business through accounts payable and receivable.

Handle client billing, invoicing, and collection monitoring

Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the Head of Accounting

Who We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Business Administration, or a related field (FRESH GRAD ARE WELCOME TO APPLY)

Experience: At least 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related experience

Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping, Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, Good communication and client-handling skills, Ability to multitask and work under supervision

Traits: Proactive and detail-oriented, Organized, dependable, and service-oriented and Strong sense of accountability and professionalism
