CASHIER

Key Responsibilities

1. Cash Handling and Payment Processing

  • Accurately process customer payments using cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment methods (e.g., GCash, PayMaya).
  • Provide correct change and issue receipts for all transactions.
  • Ensure all payments are processed quickly and accurately while maintaining a high level of efficiency.

2. Guest Interaction

  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service at the point of payment.
  • Address guest inquiries regarding charges, menu items, or any other concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensure a smooth, positive, and timely checkout experience for every guest.

3. Sales and Order Documentation

  • Accurately record all sales transactions in the POS system.
  • Verify and process discounts, promotions, or coupons according to company policy.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of receipts, invoices, and all transactions for reporting purposes.

4. Maintaining the Cashier Station

  • Keep the cashier station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Monitor and maintain sufficient change funds in the cash drawer, ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues with cash flow or transactions to the Finance Department, Front of House Supervisor, or Manager.

Qualifications

  • Completion of 2nd-year college degree, or at least 2 years of experience in a food and beverage role.
  • Previous experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry is an advantage.

  • Ability to handle cash and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on guest service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
