Cashier/Barista

JOB BRIEF:

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Barista/Cashier to join our team. This dual role involves preparing and serving coffee and beverages, handling cash and card transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all customers. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Barista:

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies according to recipes.
• Operate coffee equipment including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and equipment.
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

As a Cashier:

• Greet customers, take orders accurately, and process payments using POS systems.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and provide accurate change.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Upsell or suggest menu items to enhance the customer experience.
• Address customer questions or concerns in a polite and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a coffee shop, café, or fast-paced food service environment is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures and safety standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php15, Php18,000.00 per month
