JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Content Editing & Production

  • Edit videos for multiple platforms including YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and website content.
  • Edit reels/shorts to promote:
  • Flight training videos
  • New courses
  • Alaska lodge and flight tour offerings
  • Create training tip videos and highlight clips pulled from longer YouTube videos.
  • Produce short-form and long-form content based on SEO-driven topics provided by the content team.
  • Repurpose long-form YouTube content into engaging short clips optimized for social media.
  • Edit travel-style promotional videos featuring the Alaska lodge, flight tours, and adventure activities.
  • Ensure pacing, music, sound design, and storytelling match modern trends and platform best practices.

YouTube & SEO-Supported Editing

  • Edit content aligned with YouTube CTR optimization strategies (titles, pacing, visual hooks).
  • Collaborate with the content team on improving video retention by enhancing intros, transitions, and visuals.
  • Support SEO strategy by editing videos around top-searched keywords, trending aviation topics, and recommended themes.

Creative Development

  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and structure new video concepts.
  • Pre-visualize content and create simple storyboards when needed.
  • Add motion graphics, lower thirds, title cards, text overlays, and simple animations.
  • Select music, SFX, and graphics appropriate for aviation, training, and travel content.

Multimedia & Asset Management

  • Source relevant photos, stock footage, and audio as needed.
  • Maintain organized footage logs, shared drives, and digital archives.
  • Prepare final video deliverables in the correct aspect ratios and formats for each platform.
  • Ensure consistent branding, tone, and visual style across all videos.

General Support

  • Collaborate closely with the Content Writer/Manager to produce videos that align with SEO findings, trending topics, and content strategies.
  • Support the creation of educational content for the website, courses, and Alaska lodge/tour marketing.
  • Assist with additional multimedia tasks as needed (simple graphics, thumbnails, or short promos).

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in video editing for online content (YouTube, Reels/Shorts, Facebook).
  • Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut; experience with After Effects or motion graphics tools is a plus.
  • Experience editing educational content, travel content, or fast-paced social media videos preferred.
  • Aviation knowledge or aviation content editing experience is a significant advantage.
  • Strong storytelling and pacing skills for both long-form and short-form content.
  • Ability to match brand voice, visual style, and platform-specific requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
  • Comfortable working with large amounts of footage and creating multiple variations of the same content.

TECH REQUIREMENTS:

  • Computer - at least i7 or equivalent with 16gb RAM
  • Internet Speed - At least 50 MBPS Download speed

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 6am-2pm Manila Time Tuesday-Saturday (overlapping with M-F US time)

Salary Range: PHP 60,000- PHP 80,000 monthly, Depending on experience
