Key responsibilities

  • Record and manage transactions: Accurately record all daily transactions, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and maintain internal systems with financial data.
  • Financial reporting: Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Accounts management: Process invoices, reconcile bank statements and other accounts, and track bank deposits and payments.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist with budget preparation, track expenditures, and help forecast future cash flows.
  • Financial analysis: Conduct analysis to identify financial trends, variances, and provide insights to support management decisions.
  • Auditing and compliance: Participate in financial audits and assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.

Qualifications and skills

  • A degree in business, finance, or accounting is often required.
  • Strong analytical and data entry skills are essential.
  • Experience with financial software, bookkeeping, and general accounting principles is necessary.
  • The ability to understand and apply financial policies and regulations is important.
