Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines.
  • Leverage AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, S3, and EC2 to manage data workflows.
  • Utilize Python for data processing, transformation, and automation tasks.
  • Work with NoSQL databases and manage data in various formats, particularly JSON.
  • Develop and execute ETL processes to transform raw data into actionable insights.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data quality.
  • Support data warehousing solutions using Snowflake or similar technologies.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and workflows for maximum efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, actuarial, statistics, computer science or information technology or any relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in data engineering or similar fields
  • PL/SQL Oracle development experience
  • Experience pulling data from a variety of data source types
  • Dimensional modelling experience
  • Experience interfacing with business users and understanding their requirements
  • Ability to learn and implement new and different techniques
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Experienced in AWS Data Pipeline
  • Experienced in Python for data processing, transformation, and automation tasks
  • Experienced with OLAP, SSAS, and MD
