We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team at One Commerce Int'l. Corporation, a leading system integrator. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating mechanical systems and components that are part of larger, complex systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Design & Integration: Design and develop mechanical components and systems that are integrated into larger systems, ensuring all mechanical subsystems function properly within the overall design.
  • CAD Modeling & Drafting: Create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings for mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Prototyping & Testing: Build prototypes, conduct tests, and iterate designs based on test results to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Manufacturing Support: Provide technical support for the manufacturing process, working with suppliers and production teams to ensure designs are fabricated according to specifications.
  • System Integration & Troubleshooting: Collaborate with electrical, software, and control engineers to integrate mechanical systems into overall solutions. Identify and troubleshoot any integration issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that mechanical components meet required standards and specifications through rigorous testing and quality control checks.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
  • Client Support: Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders, addressing any mechanical-related queries and offering solutions during installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices, recommending improvements to design, processes, and system integration methods.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, systems integration, or a related field, preferably in a system integrator or manufacturing environment.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.) for mechanical design and modeling.

  • Experience with mechanical simulations (e.g., FEA, thermal analysis, stress analysis).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, and 3D printing.
  • Knowledge of system integration techniques, especially in automation, robotics, or IT-related systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve mechanical issues during system integration.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and collaborate with engineers from other disciplines.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring precision in design and system integration.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
