FULL TIME CLINIC NURSE

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Perform initial patient assessment, such as checking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.), assessing the severity of the bite, and documenting the patient's medical history.
  • Collect relevant patient information to share with the online doctor for a more informed consultation.
  • Administer the anti-rabies vaccine and any other prescribed medications following the doctor's instructions.
  • Provide wound care by cleaning and dressing animal bites according to the doctor's guidance.
  • Educate patients on post-bite care, the importance of completing the rabies vaccine series, and potential side effects of the vaccine.
  • Offer guidance on preventive measures for future bites and explain the vaccination schedule to ensure patients return for follow-up doses.
  • Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to the rabies vaccine and provide immediate care if needed.
  • Report patient progress, treatment outcomes, and any concerns to the online doctor to ensure proper follow-up.
  • Ensure that patient data is accurately updated after every consultation and treatment session.
  • Ensure that the clinic maintains a sterile and safe environment, especially for patients with open wounds or those who are immunocompromised.
  • Follow protocols for proper handling and disposal of medical waste, such as needles and other biohazardous materials.
  • Schedule follow-up consultations or vaccinations as required, ensuring that patients complete the entire anti-rabies series.
  • Remind patients of upcoming appointments and handle any rescheduling as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
