Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Pharmacist, where you'll play a crucial role in providing drug information, reviewing medication orders, and monitoring patient medication to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of care we provide to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an immediate source of drug information for nursing care units and other health professionals. Conduct research and provide necessary drug interaction information.
  • Review patient medication orders for appropriateness of dose, dosage, frequency, and duration of treatment. Ensure proper drug utilization using patient drug profiles.
  • Monitor patient medication to prevent and correct medication errors. Assess potential drug interactions and adverse reactions, recommending changes or alternatives as needed.
  • Initiate interventions for potential drug-food, drug-drug, and drug-disease interactions. Suggest alternatives in therapy, such as adjusting dosages or administration routes.
  • Facilitate lectures and examinations to evaluate pharmacists' professional competence. Provide drug information and training to nursing staff.
  • Consistently implement quality policies and procedures. Submit reports of non-conformances and actively participate in investigations.

Qualifications:

  • BS Pharmacy with additional Clinical Pharmacy Studies. Licensed Pharmacist.
