Employment Type: Project-based. The role may offer contract extension or conversion to a permanent position, contingent on organizational needs.

Job Objectives

Generate Work Instruction, Machine Parameter matrix, Process flow and Conduct cycle time.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to all projects, perform root cause analysis and work to reduce any defects
  • Develop and provide support to harness production and to improve processes that already exist
  • Conduct Process Capability study
  • Support in setting up a new project
  • Develop cost savings ideas
  • Participate in improvement projects including productivity improvement, process improvement, and quality improvements
  • Support on QN/ SN closure
  • Report and document process issues
  • Coordinate with the team at all times, maintaining clear and open lines of communication
  • Keep work area clean, orderly, and safe condition

Qualifications

  • Education: A graduate of Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or other related courses
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the Harness industry
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in machine troubleshooting and setup. Knowledgeable in crimping, welding, soldering, and the assembly of wiring harnesses
  • Analytical Skills: Capable of conducting cycle time analysis and providing detailed reports. Able to analyze and evaluate data to find ways to improve efficiency and quality. Capable of assessing and recommending manufacturing practices for compliance with industry standards
  • Software Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office

Working Conditions

  • Must be willing to work in shifting schedules, render overtime, and work during weekends.
