A technical assistant provides a blend of technical and administrative support, assisting with tasks like hardware/software maintenance, technical support, documentation, project support, and data management to help technical teams and managers operate efficiently. Their specific duties vary by field, but often include troubleshooting, creating reports, and managing technical requests to ensure smooth project and system workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, and provide technical assistance to team members and end-users.
  • Support engineers and managers with various aspects of projects, including feasibility studies, data analysis, record-keeping, and the evaluation of new technologies.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and reports, as well as managing administrative tasks like data entry, filing, and preparing correspondence.
  • Perform system updates, data backups, and assist with testing and troubleshooting of technical issues.
  • Handle basic administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling meetings, and processing invoices.
  • Assist with interactions between technical teams and clients, or members of the public, by answering calls and redirecting inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is common, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a specific engineering discipline.
  • Willing to be deployed offsite
  • Knowledgeable on electrical, mechanical and HVAC, troubleshooting
  • Good communication skills
  • Can drive 4 wheels (manual/automatic)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php15,000.00 per month
