Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Encode accounting data accurately into accounting software, spreadsheets, and internal databases.
  2. Input details from invoices, receipts, vouchers, billing statements, and other accounting documents.
  3. Sort, organize, and prepare documents for encoding to ensure smooth workflow.
  4. Scan, label, and file both digital and physical documents for proper recordkeeping and easy retrieval.
  5. Conduct basic verification of documents prior to encoding (e.g., checking completeness and document type).
  6. Identify and report discrepancies or missing information to the Accounting Officer for clarification.
  7. Maintain an organized filing system for all accounting documents and records.
  8. Provide encoding support for daily, weekly, and monthly accounting requirements.
  9. Assist in retrieving documents and preparing simple lists or summaries based on encoded data.
  10. Ensure adherence to internal data entry procedures and confidentiality guidelines.

Skills Required:

• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry

• Basic knowledge of accounting documents and processes (advantage but not required)

• Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable using computers and basic software

• Organized, reliable, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Willing to work full-time on-site in Pasig

• Able to focus on repetitive encoding tasks with consistency and accuracy

• Must maintain confidentiality of financial data and documents

• Can work under time-sensitive deadlines

• Willing to assist with simple administrative tasks related to accounting when required
