Associate Chip Development Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
  • Computer Engineering
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Applied Physics (with a major in Computer Hardware)
  • Computer Science (with a major in Computer Hardware/Embedded Systems)
  • or other equivalent programs

(Recent College Graduates encouraged to apply)

  • Strong foundational knowledge of digital logic design principles, including combinational and sequential circuits.
  • Understanding of low-level firmware concepts such as memory-mapped I/O, register-level programming, and peripheral control.
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages (HDL) such as Verilog or SystemVerilog.
  • Basic understanding of verification concepts, including EDA simulation tools like ModelSim or VCS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a strong passion for technology development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting with strong communication skills.

PREFERRRED SKILLS

  • UVM (Universal Verification Methodology)
  • C/C++ programming for embedded systems
  • Post-silicon validation (e.g., JTAG debugging, oscilloscope-based testing)
  • Python or Perl scripting for automation
  • Experience with EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys or Cadence)
  • FPGA prototyping
