About the role

CMA AGRI-DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm Operations Manager to oversee and manage our poultry brooding, grow-out, and layer farm operations in Lipa and in Padre Garcia Batangas. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in achieving the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the poultry farm operations, including brooding, grow-out, and layer production
  • Develop and implement effective procedures and protocols to ensure optimal flock health, productivity, and resource efficiency
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Liaise with the veterinary consultant to maintain high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and sales teams to align production with sales and market demand
  • Provide leadership, coaching and training to the farm operations team
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant agricultural, environmental, and health & safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in managing commercial poultry operations in a layer farm environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of poultry production, including brooding, grow-out, and layer management; With experience in both Conventional Poultry Buildings and Tunnel Ventilated Poultry Buildings.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret performance data and implement data-driven improvements
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience in using farm management software and automation technologies
