Client: MULTINATIONAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY

Position: PRODUCT CATEGORY MANAGER - REGULAR PAY

The role is responsible for driving the strategy, development, and performance of the Regular Pay product line and ensures alignment with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives while delivering profitable growth and strengthening the company's market position.

Strategy & Business Planning

  • Define and implement the overall product strategy for Regular Pay
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer insights, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop short- and long-term plans to achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets.

Product Management

  • Lead the design, pricing, and launch of new RP products.

  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to sunset, ensuring relevance and competitiveness.

  • Ensure all products comply with regulatory standards and internal governance.

Sales and Marketing Support

  • Partner with Distribution teams to drive product penetration and adoption.
  • Develop product value propositions and marketing strategies in coordination with Brand and Communications.

Performance Management

  • Track product performance, portfolio mix, and profitability.
  • Recommend product enhancements, pricing adjustments, or repositioning as needed.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Engage external partners, reinsurers and regulators as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in product management, preferably in insurance, banking, or financial services.
  3. Strong knowledge of savings, investment-linked and protection products.
  4. Proven track record in product development and category management.
  5. Experience in leading a cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
