Meet the team:

The Tax role will be critical to the success of the Tax Department will support the rapid growth of our business.

Where you come in:

Role will support all areas of taxation in the Philippines, Malaysia, Japan and Singapore. Person will work together with the Senior Tax Manager/Accounting Manager/3rd party tax consultant to prepare and complete tax returns and reports involving but not limited to Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Taxes, Sales and Service Tax and other tax liabilities. Responsible for meeting all required deadlines. Maintains current knowledge of all tax laws affecting the company. Reviews proposals for tax implications and recommends actions that meet the business plans while managing the tax liability. Assists in tax audits. May be involved with tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.

What makes you successful:

  • Extract tax data from tax system
  • Gather, validate, and prepare transaction documentation on monthly basis for tax return, submission to tax authority/third party tax preparer
  • Reconciliation of accounts from general ledger to tax system in a timely manner for month-end closing process
  • Communicate unreconciled transactions and discrepancies internally for further support or remediation
  • Run monthly GL reports for tax
  • Preparation of tax journal entries
  • Perform data entry associated with tax department duties
  • Compile and maintain a variety of files and records for the department
  • Receives general oversight and guidance on approaches to compete project related tasks
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships
  • Additional tax and admin support duties as assigned
