We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Sales & Regulatory to take on a critical dual role within our Raw Materials Department. This position combines leadership in sales performance with oversight of food-related regulatory compliance and plays a vital role in developing strategic plans for market expansion and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership, Strategic Planning & Key Account Management

· Supervise and mentor Technical Sales Representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.

· Promote and sell raw materials for food manufacturers and assist clients in product innovation and development

· Lead the development of strategic sales plans and client engagement strategies aligned with business goals.

· Manage key accounts and weekly client visit itineraries to ensure consistent service and relationship building.

· Handle client concerns (e.g., delivery, pricing) and work closely with Credit & Collection teams for timely payments.

· Provide creative market insights and drive sales productivity through data-driven strategies.

Data Management, Reporting & Strategic Forecasting

· Prepare and present sales reports, market updates, and customer activity summaries.

· Develop annual sales forecasts and contribute to long-term business and strategic planning.

· Monitor and manage quotations, sample requests, and all import-related sales documentation.

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Oversight

· Ensure full FDA registration and regulatory compliance for all food-related raw materials under the Business Unit.

· Collaborate with regulatory teams, including Food Technologists, to meet audit, certification, and documentation requirements.

· Review inspection reports and oversee quality control of incoming materials.

· Serve as the key liaison with suppliers (local and international) for product documentation, quality claims, and technical issues.

· Lead the preparation, maintenance, and updating of regulatory documents, audit files, and sample inventories.

· Participate in internal and external audits and support regulatory risk assessments and corrective actions.

Qualifications:

Educational Background

· Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.

· Must be a Licensed Food Technologist or licensed Chemist.

Professional Experience

· At least 5 years of proven sales experience in the trading of food raw materials, manufacturing, or allied industries.

· Prior exposure to regulatory compliance, quality assurance, or documentation is a strong asset.

· Experience in strategic planning or sales forecasting is preferred.

· Strong leadership and people management skills.

· Highly analytical with an ability to develop strategic initiatives and solve complex business challenges.

· Excellent verbal and written English communication.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM or sales tracking systems.

· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
