Evoke Capital is an award-winning Finance and Mortgage Brokerage based in Sydney specialising in both commercial and residential property lending.

We are currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and so we are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Credit Analyst to join our team.

This role will be full-time working from home (WFH) contracting role where you will collaborate with colleagues remotely via the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

About the role

This role will require the successful candidate to work closely with the Directors, Senior Credit Analysts and Broker Support. Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Processing loan residential loan applications supplied by Finance Broker and Broker Support team
  • Workshop the loan scenario, including product research, serviceability and document verification
  • Create Preliminary Assessments, Apply Online (AOL), Bank Application Forms, Discharge Forms and Credit Notes
  • Submit and manage the loan application submission, MIR's and status all the way through until Unconditional Approval
  • Liaise with bank assessors, BDMs, legal professionals and clients

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Must have experience with Australian banks and completing PAYG and Self-Employed serviceability worksheets and preliminary assessments
  • Min 1+ years working as a Credit Analyst or Lending Manager (or equivalent)
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to research lending policies, process applications and follow up clients in a professional manner
  • An understanding of lending practices, loan structures, lenders and processes
  • Excellent time management with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interpret a set of financial statements, tax returns and business structures
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office experience
  • Tertiary qualification desirable however not essential
  • Salestrekker software experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Property investment knowledge is desirable, but not essential
