As a Credit Analyst, you will handle PAYG and Self-Employed credit assessments, evaluate complex loan scenarios, and collaborate with brokers to ensure seamless submissions from discovery to settlement. Your expertise will help drive smarter approvals and stronger client relationships.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 2 years of experience in credit assessment for PAYG and Self-Employed scenarios with Australian banks and non-bank lenders for purchases, refinances, equity releases, and top-ups
• Great written communication skills as there will be plenty of client interactions via Email and WhatsApp
• Must be able to take ownership of a deal and "run with it" throughout its entire journey after the Discovery Call: review of fact find, initial credit assessment, back and forth with client around different scenarios and possibilities, document collection, loan submission, lender MIRs, pre-approval, full approval, settlement, and post-settlement
• Extreme attention to detail: needs to be organised, prioritise urgent tasks, and keep track of the status of every deal in detail as the volumes are strong
• Only tools that are a must for this role are Quickli and Google Sheets

Nice to Have:

• Experience with credit analysis for complex structures (multiple entities, trusts, SMSF)
• Experience with Salestrekker

Your Daily Tasks

• Conduct credit assessments for PAYG and Self-Employed scenarios across purchases, refinances, equity releases, and top-ups
• Collaborate with a top-performing broker to tackle diverse credit scenarios
• Manage the full credit journey: from initial assessment to settlement and post-settlement
• Communicate with clients via Email and WhatsApp, providing clear updates and solutions
• Track deal statuses meticulously to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Leverage Quickli and Google Sheets to maintain efficiency and accuracy
• Adapt to new tools or approaches to improve processes and workflows
