As a Senior Sales Officer, you will lead efforts to drive new business and strengthen existing client relationships. Your role is pivotal in achieving sales targets, mentoring junior sales staff, and ensuring that the agency's growth and profitability goals are met. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategic plans and execute sales campaigns in line with the company's mission to redefine insurance with customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across assigned markets and channels.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts by fostering strong client relationships.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales officers to improve team performance and capability.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Participate in product training and keep updated on all product developments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Coordinate with underwriting, customer service, and claims departments for seamless client onboarding and servicing.
  • Represent Oona Insurance in industry events, client meetings, and other networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in insurance sales or financial services, preferably in a supervisory or senior role.
  • Proven sales track record and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and the sales cycle.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies to increase competitiveness.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Licensed insurance agent is preferred but not required.
