Junior Application Support Specialist – SQL

We are looking for a Junior Application Support Specialist with at least 3 years of experience and basic to intermediate SQL skills to join our application support team. The ideal candidate will provide operational support for enterprise applications, focusing on SQL-related tasks and issue resolution within a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the transition of application features from development to production.
- Provide day-to-day support for enterprise business applications, with a focus on SQL-based troubleshooting and data validation.
- Assist in incident tracking, issue resolution, and root cause documentation.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the Operations Enablement Service Catalogue.
- Collaborate with senior team members, developers, and infrastructure staff to resolve issues.
- Participate in service improvement initiatives and team knowledge-sharing activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in application support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Basic to intermediate experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgresDB) – REQUIRED.
- Familiarity with Incident Management and IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
- Exposure to programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus.
- Awareness of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is preferred.
- Willingness to work a mid-shift schedule and report onsite 3 days per week in BGC, Taguig.

- Location: Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig
- Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote)
- Shift: Mid-Shift
