Multimedia Specialist - Video Editor (with AI Tools Background)

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with strong experience in producing engaging short-form and long-form content for TikTok and YouTube. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to enhance video production, streamline editing workflows, and optimize content for social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce short-form videos for TikTok and long-form/short-form videos for YouTube that align with brand guidelines and target audience engagement.
  • Utilize AI tools (e.g., Runway, Pika Labs, Descript, Opus Clip, etc.) for tasks such as video enhancement, automated captions, background removal, repurposing content, and idea generation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop content strategies tailored for TikTok and YouTube trends.
  • Stay updated with the latest AI video editing technologies and social media trends to improve workflow efficiency and content quality.
  • Ensure consistent branding, tone, and storytelling across all video outputs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Optimize videos for platform algorithms (SEO, hashtags, titles, thumbnails, and retention strategies).
  • Suggest creative ideas for new content formats leveraging AI tools.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor (portfolio required), preferably with TikTok and YouTube content.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Strong background in using AI tools for video editing and content creation (e.g., Descript for editing, Runway/Stable Video for AI-generated visuals, Opus Clip for auto-repurposing).
  • Deep understanding of TikTok and YouTube trends, audience behavior, and engagement strategies.
  • Ability to craft compelling stories through editing, pacing, transitions, and effects.
  • Knowledge of basic graphic design and motion graphics is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity with the ability to adapt to different styles and formats.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Time management skills to deliver multiple projects on tight deadlines.
  • Portfolio required.
