Sales Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:
Assumes the responsibility for the sales of high grade pre-painted roofing materials, wall claddings, frames and floor decking to Architects and Contractors. Gathers market data, determines in-depth market needs, and serves clients with utmost customer satisfaction.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solicits sales from regular and potential customer through professional servicing, by providing free accurate estimate and closing of sales contract.
- Identifies and develops market potentials and widens market coverage.
- Monitors daily cash collection and accounts receivables to assure timely collections.
- Monitors documentation processes to assure smooth flow of papers from estimating, sales contract preparation, job order until actual delivery to customers, and installation department for subcon award and manning of project for mobilization.
- Ensures completeness/accuracy of data & attachments to contract.
- Develops good business relations with customers.
- Prepares and submits all required sales reports on time.
Qualifications:
- College Graduate - Civil Engineering or Architectural course
- 1-year experience in construction or at least 2 years in direct selling to contractors, developer, hardware stores and roofing specialists.
- Computer literate, knowledgeable in basic estimating. Capable in handling with high level negotiation. Have good inter-personal relations skills; with pleasing personality.
