Position - QA Team Lead

Location - Onsite (B. Benedicto St. Cebu City, Philippines)

Shift - Regular Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm or 10am to 7pm)

Automation testing with UI/UX experience Needed

Support the QA manager, overseeing both manual and automated testing processes to ensure comprehensive coverage and quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute robust test strategies and detailed test plans for new and existing applications.

Oversee the design and execution of both manual and automated tests, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to identify, track, and resolve defects.

Evaluate customer experience and usability to ensure that products meet user needs and expectations.

Assess the impact of identified bugs and issues, making informed decisions on whether the product is ready for release.

Provide the go/no-go signal for project releases, balancing quality with project timelines.

Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Analyze testing metrics and generate reports to provide insights for process optimization and risk mitigation.

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

Extensive experience with automation frameworks and tools, particularly Selenium, as well as proficiency in JIRA and Jenkins.

In-depth understanding of various software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.

WITH UI/UX Experience

Experience Level:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a preference for candidates who have lead roles

Certification Requirements:

Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.

Team Structure:

You will lead a team of 15-20 QA professionals, collaborating effectively with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and quality across projects.

Work Environment:

This is an on-site position located in Cebu City, Cebu, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
